One of the diligent cameramen of Kannada cinema Mathew Rajan turned director from ‘Bombeyatavayya’. It was in 2010 September. After three years there was no news of the film starring versatile actor Ananthnag and Suvarna satellite channel television journalist Ranganath Bharadwaj.
On Monday www.chitratara.com caught up with cameraman cum director Mathew Rajan. He has announced in a short and exclusive chat that he is the actual producer of this film. G Ravi a congress I politician has shifted all the responsibilities. Ravi is no more interested in the film making.
That has left Mathew Rajan to take up completion. He has 13 days of shooting left. I am definitely completing the 35th film of my career as cameraman and that is a debut in direction. It is also my first production now says Mathew.
G Ravi is also producer Vismaya Pranaya that bombed in the box office.
For Mathew new task of production Suvarana Satellite channel Anoop Chandrasekhar has given a nod to go ahead. That means to say he is sure of satellite rights.
Ranganath Bharadwaj plays the medical student and his father is a strict lawyer. Ranganath Bharadwaj is playing irresponsible son role to very responsible father played by Ananthnag. Mayuri plays the heroine was decked in the marriage costume and so is Ranganath Bharadwaj.
